A little bit about Daniel
Daniel started Judo age 14 with the British Judo Council (BJC). Daniel was a competitive player within the BJC and won both the BJC National Championships and the BJC International championships. Daniel was a well respected figure within the federation and started coaching at an early age. However at the age of 18 he felt like he wanted to challenge himself further and took the decision to transfer over to the British Judo association (BJA). Daniel proceeded to win both his BJA 1st and 2nd Dan competitively and competed in many major British tournaments and continues to compete as a veteran today. He started coaching within the BJA following his transfer over from the BJC and used his knowledge and experience to open Kangei Judo Club along with his Brother-in-law Grant Egleton in the early part of 2014.
